My work draws from many sources: mythic, multicultural, and ancient. The complex use of color is a dominant feature of my artwork. I have developed an innovative collage/laser-printing technique which allows for the combination of painterly and photographic effects. My latest works are done with pastels--pure dry pigments with superb colorfastness. These are available in limited-edition Giclee prints, four-color lithographs, color laser prints, and, of course--original paintings.
Christina Nichols completed a BFA at Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. She taught for several years while developing her unique style. In 1980, she began selling her work at the Pike Place Market on the Seattle waterfront. Her work has appeared in galleries and Arts Fairs throughout the American West.

We will continue to show the art at
the
Pike Place Market (check this link for
maps and info about the Market) in Seattle, usually Fridays and Saturdays,
and the other days will vary. Christina is often at the market on
Friday. Look for us amidst the flower vendors and craftspeople near
the Desimone Bridge, on the north end of the Market, at street level.
